Configuring a Widget via Google Tag Manager

To add a widget via Google Tag, go to your Google Tag Manager dashboard and add a new tag.

Select the “Tag Configuration” menu.

In the list of tag types that appears, select “Custom HTML”.

In the Teletype panel, go to channel settings, open the chat settings, and copy its code.

Paste the copied code into the “HTML” field in the tag configuration.

Then select the “Triggers” menu.

In the window that appears, select “Page View”. This way, your tag will load every time a page on your website is opened.

Name the tag and save the changes.

After that, you will return to the workspace where the added tag will be displayed. Click the “Submit” button to publish the changes.

Add a version name and description, then click “Publish”.

After this, the online chat tag will be successfully added to Tag Manager and will start working on your website.

Make sure the Google Tag Manager code is installed on your website.
