Changing Settings of an Existing Project in Teletype

  1. In the top menu of the Teletype panel, click the arrow located to the right of the profile name.

2. Select “My Projects.”

3. Click “Edit” to automatically open the settings of the existing project.

Creating a New Teletype Project

  1. Click “+New.”

2. Enter the project name.

3. Change the control panel address if needed. The control panel address is generated automatically using the formula: projectname.teletype.app.

4. Specify the time zone: click on the time zone field.

5. Select the desired time zone from the dropdown list.

6. Check the box “I want to be an operator” if necessary.

By selecting “I want to be an operator”, the account owner will be able to respond to customer messages personally. Inviting a second and subsequent operators will be possible for an additional fee. You can connect an unlimited number of operators to the project.

If the account owner plans only to read messages and manage the project, leave this field unchecked. In this case, inviting the first operator is free. These settings can always be changed later if needed.

7. Click “Create New Project.”
