Phone Hosting for WhatsApp

For WhatsApp to function correctly, the following requirements must be met for the device connected to the messenger:

• The phone must always be turned on;
• WhatsApp must be open on the phone;
• The screen must be unlocked;
• A stable internet connection and network access.

Teletype offers a Phone Hosting for WhatsApp option, which guarantees a working and charged phone for the WhatsApp channel.

Connecting Phone Hosting for WhatsApp

1. Go to the tariff configurator in your personal account settings.

2. Click “+ Additional options.”

3. Click “Add” in the “Phone Hosting for WhatsApp” section.

4. Click “Save changes.”

5. Contact technical support by clicking “Support Service” in the left menu of your personal account settings.

An online chat will appear on the right.

6. Inform the technical support operator about enabling the hosting option.

7. Wait for the operator’s response and provide the phone number to which WhatsApp will be connected.

8. Provide the operator with the confirmation code received on the previously specified number.

Create a WhatsApp channel in the Teletype panel (detailed instructions) and notify technical support about the channel creation.

Important Information

When the Phone Hosting service for WhatsApp is enabled, you will not be able to use the messenger independently with the specified number. If you log into the account with the specified phone number, the hosting will stop working.
